Privacy Policy

What we collect

Account information, such as email address, sign-in provider, username, display name, and support messages.

Profile information you choose to add, such as avatar, pronouns, city, bio, prompts, public profile details, and sharing settings.

Birth details used to calculate your Woo Map, including birth date, birth time, birth city, coordinates, and timezone.

Woo Map and self-report information, including astrology, human design, numerology, quizzes, modality results, daily readings, unlocks, badges, streaks, and app currency activity.

Private reflection content, such as moods, check-ins, journals, dream entries, dream symbols, AI reflections, and related notes.

Community content, such as posts, comments, room messages, likes, reports, and moderation context.

Referral, feedback, and usage information, such as referral links, referral cookies, share channel, page path, approximate country from request headers, user agent, app feedback, screenshots you upload, analytics, and reliability data.

Payment information when payments are enabled. Card details are handled by the payment processor and are not stored by Woowoogle. Cash digital purchases are disabled in the iOS and Android apps unless Apple In-App Purchase or Google Play Billing is implemented.

How we use it

We use personal information to create and secure accounts, calculate and display Woo Maps, personalize readings, save private reflections, run community and referral features, maintain earned currency and unlocks, process payments when enabled, respond to support requests, prevent abuse, debug issues, and improve the app.

AI-generated readings and reflections are for entertainment and self-reflection. They are not medical, mental health, legal, financial, or professional advice.

Public and private data

Public profile surfaces may show username, display name, avatar, pronouns, city, bio, archetype, selected prompts, streak or level, badges, and free computed map highlights.

We do not intentionally show exact birth date, birth time, birth coordinates, legal name fields, account email, payment identifiers, private journals, dreams, moods, or self-report quiz answers on public profiles.

Service providers

We use providers for hosting, authentication, database storage, file storage, analytics, maps, translation, email delivery, payments when enabled, and AI-generated readings. Current or planned providers include Supabase, Vercel, Mapbox, Google Translate, Stripe, and Anthropic.

These providers process information as needed to provide the app. We do not sell personal information. We do not use private journal, mood, dream, or consumer health data for targeted advertising.

Sensitive and health-adjacent data

Some information in Woowoogle can be sensitive, including birth coordinates, moods, somatic patterns, journals, dreams, shadow work, attachment reflections, and similar self-reflection content.

We handle that information under our separate Consumer Health Data Notice, which you can read at /consumer-health-privacy.

Cookies and analytics

Woowoogle uses necessary cookies and local storage for sign-in, onboarding drafts, language preferences, referral attribution, and basic app functionality.

We also use analytics and speed tools to understand performance and reliability. Referral cookies last up to 30 days and help credit invitation rewards.

Your choices and rights

You can update profile and birth details in Settings. You can delete certain journal and dream entries in the app. You can start account deletion from Settings or contact us at woowoo@woowoogle.com.

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or receive a copy of your personal information, and to opt out of certain sharing. Email woowoo@woowoogle.com to make a privacy request. If we deny a request, you can reply and ask us to review the decision.

Retention

We keep account and app data while your account is active. If you delete your account, we delete or de-identify associated personal data unless a limited record is needed for legal, security, fraud-prevention, payment, backup, or dispute reasons.

Community content may be deleted or de-identified after account deletion when full deletion would harm moderation records, safety investigations, or the integrity of conversations.

Children

Woowoogle is for people 18 and older during beta. We do not knowingly allow children or teens to create accounts. If you believe someone under 18 has created an account, contact woowoo@woowoogle.com.

Security

We use technical and organizational safeguards such as authentication, access controls, row-level database security, private storage buckets for feedback screenshots, and limited service-role access. No system is perfectly secure, but we work to protect the information entrusted to us.
